TUFC 7 - 0 BINBIENG

Tamale Utrecht Football Club (TUFC) today mauled Kumbungu Binbieng FC 7- 0 in the last nine competition of the division two league.

Alhassan Kalusha who opened the scoring for TUFC grabbed four goals in the match to lead the competition goal king race with nine goals. Jafaru A. Somed added the second from a spot kick in the first half. Hardworking midfielder Adam Ibrahim completed the team scoring in the first half playing a half volley into the roof of the net after Kalusha had made it three.

In the second half Alhassan Kalusha scored from a spot kick to increase the tally to five and substitute Simon Blaise headed home the sixth goal.

The goal bash was completed after Alhassan Kalusha made a run into the penalty area with the ball and rounded the goal keeper to score for the seventh goal.

Kumbungu Binbieng FC failed to score from two spot kicks they were awarded in each half and will play their next game tomorrow against Lingbinsi Soccer Angels to redeem their image.

TUFC takes a rest tomorrow and need a point in their last match against Soccer Angels on Friday to guarantee qualification to the semi final stage of the competition.

In Zone 1 Liberty Babies beat Shakur Stars 2-0 whilst Sawla Stars rested in the zone. Also in Zone 3 Dynamos beat Yoo FC 2-1 whilst Jakpa Warriors took a rest in the zone.
