TUFC MEET LIBERTY AGAIN IN SEMIS

Liberty professionals qualified to the semi final of the division two competition as the best runner up in the three zones and will meet Zone 2 champion Tamale Utrecht FC tomorrow at the Ghanasco field.

The two sides are meeting again for the third time in the division two competition. In the first round meeting Liberty beat TUFC 1-0 and picked a point against TUFC when they met for the second time in the competition in the second round.

TUFC will be expected to win the tomorrow’s tie to reach the finals in the competition after winning its final day zone 2 match beating Soccer Angels 1-0 to claim all six points in the zone. Liberty babies however lost 3-1 to Sawla Tuna Kalba Stars today at the Kaladan Park in the zone 1 final fixtures.

The other semi final match is between tournament favourites Sawla Tuna Kalba Stars and Dynamos FC at the Kaladan Park. Sawla would be depending on the tournament third leading scorer with 6 goals Tahiru Abdul Mumin to produce the results against Dynamos that won their last match against Salaga Jakpa Warriors today.

The winners from the two semi final matches would engage each other in the grand final on Sunday at the Kaladan Park.
