TUFA WIRES GOODWILL MESSAGE TO RTU ON LAST DAY PLAY-OFF
21 August, 2012
Tamale Utrecht Football Academy has released a goodwill message to Real Tamale United ahead of the division one final play-off matches to the premier league on Wednesday.
The release signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Abdulai Alhassan urged the playing body to put in their best for a win in the last encounter, as that would have guaranteed RTU a place in the 2012/2013 premier league.
‘Our club is strongly behind you in an intricate journey of reclaiming a 33 year premiership status that was lost 2 seasons ago after the club was relegated in the elite division of the Ghanaian league’ Mr. Abdulai said.
‘As an academy that supports the growth of football in all sectors in the region, we are most privileged to be part of your successful qualifications to the play-offs and will be overwhelmed with joy to hear on Wednesday that RTU had qualified to the premier league’. The CEO noted.
Real Tamale United needs a win in Wednesday decisive match against Unity FC at the Baba Yara stadium to book a place in the Ghana premier league next season. The two clubs are tied at the summit with 6 points apiece and a win is the only results that will separate the two from gaining qualification to the premier league.
